Bringing in a defensive midfielder is said to be high on the club's agenda, with names such as Adam Wharton of Crystal Palace, Carlos Baleba of Brighton, Elliot Anderson of Nottingham Forest, and Eduardo Camavinga of Real Madrid all being considered.
